Undefeated Braimah Kamoko popularly known as “Bukom Banku” early this morning defeated Michael Ayittey Powers in their much hype non title bout at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Banku was in total control as he dominated all the 12 rounds with the judges scoring 117-109, 119-100 and 120-108 all in his favour.
The victory means Braimah Kamoko has improved his record to 27-0 while Ayitey Powers drops to 18-24-1.
Powers started the bout on a strong note but soon began to lose momentum in the bout as he failed to follow up on the punches that forced Banku open.
Bukom Banku got into his groove in the second round and dictated the pace with a flurry of punches with Powers going on the defensive.
For the rest of the bout, Banku went after Powers and landed most of the power punches mostly due to his punching combinations and movement.
The boxer surprised the fans with his skillful boxing techniques and even had time to toy with the tired Powers who could not keep up with the flow of punches.
