600 Korle-Bu nurses withdraw services over non-payment of salaries
600 Junior Nurses at the Korle-Bu Teaching have withdrawn their services over non-payment of salaries and arrears for almost two years
The aggrieved nurses, who Monday marched through the premises of the hospital in protest, said they took the decision to withdraw their services after passionate appeals for their salaries to be paid went unheeded.
In very angry tones, they told reporters that they were “sick and tired” of working without salaries.
They, therefore, vowed not to return to work until their salaries were paid.
