Lil Win To Face NACOB Over Marijuana Saga

Information reaching us reveals that Kumasi based comedian Kwadwoe Nkansah popularly known as Lil Win will soon be hauled to the headquarters of the Narcotics Control Board for his infamous marijuana saga.
According to intel sources close to the nation’s lead agency responsible for controlling issues related to narcotics, the actor will be facing a committee to answer questions and his motives for allegedly possessing and openly promoting marijuana (wee) at the ‘Ghana Meet Niaja’ Concert which was held in Accra last weekend.
“My friend, anyone found to be possessing, using, transporting, cultivating or promoting any of the illegal drugs under PNDC Law 236 is an affront to the law and such individual is liable to punishment ” a top-notch officer disclosed this to reporters of infoghana in a telephone interview earlier this week.
The source added that the board have watched and accessed the tape which clearly confirmed that the actor openly declared that marijuana usage is very ‘good’; adding that NACOB condemns the act.
Organizers of the event, the source maintained were commended for their quick response to disassociate themselves with the act and called on other event planners to emulate the bold decision by denying such characters the opportunity to perform on their respective platforms.
This move, will go the long way discourage other artists from misbehaving whiles performing on stage.
When asked about the case of Chris Brown, where he was applauded for smoking marijuana whiles performing at the Accra sports stadium last year “indeed NACOB raised concerns but the media did not give the hype to the release; we wrote to the organizers, thus Charter House to respond to questions we provided to them”
There have also been instances where we invited Blakk Rasta to our headquarters for promoting ‘wee’ on his Programme on Hitz Fm where he promised to desist from that act.
The source hinted that a release will soon be issued to state the position of NACOB after watching the tape critically.
