Arrest Kofi Portuphy – MNC

A Group called the Media Network for Change has issued a statement demanding the arrest of the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress ( NDC) , Kofi Portuphy.

According to the Chairman of MNC in an interview with Sammy Asare of Kenyasi based radio, Anapua 105.1fm in the Brong Ahafo region, Portuphy has said he has reliable information which is clearly that the President, Nana Addo is behind the killing of police and military personnel at a press conference in Accra.

Richard Asante the Chairman of the group again said the arrest of the NDC Chairman will assist the security to investigate the matter and to apprehend the main brains behind the rampant killing because no one is above the law.

He said the group has given the security one week ultimatum to go for the National Chairman for interrogation to bring sanity to the issue.

He added that if the security is unable to arrest him the group will write letter to the regional police commander in Ashanti region for the arrest. ” This cannot be political talk” said Richard Asante
