Oprah Winfrey went to the bank for the first time since 1988 to deposit a $2M check

Oprah Winfrey finally had a good reason to go to the bank.

Appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Monday, the media mogul revealed that she hadn’t gone to the bank since 1988 — 29 years ago.

But her reason for returning to one of the most mundane places in the world after three decades is even better: She had a giant check to cash.

During a round of “Burning Questions,” Winfrey first said that she deposited a $1 million check, but later bumped the total up to a cool $2 million.

We’d stand in line for that kind of check too.
