OLA Girls SHS organize Graduation and Missioning Ceremony
The Authorities and Parent Teacher Association(PTA) of Ola Girls Senior High School at kenyasi in the Brong Ahafo region have today organised the 3rd Graduation and Missioning Ceremony for the 2017/2018 West African Examination Council (WAEC) candidates.
Three hundred and eighty seven (387) Graduants showed up with the Ghana Education Service Executives, the school’s authorities and staff, Chiefs, Men of God,Old students, Parents, media and continuing students to grace the occasion.
The students displayed their talents in areas like poetry recitals in twi and english, choreography and cultural display which gingered some of the top officials to be on their feet and danced to the rhythm.
According to the Headmistress, the ceremony provided a final opportunity to talk to the girls as they leave campus after their three years stay and officially announce to them their completion of academic duties at Ola Girls.
Some of the graduants shared stories of being nervous of first coming on campus. However under the excellent guidance by the OLA teachers they overcame this.
The school presented award to the most excelling Graduant from academics, Sports and Drama respectively.
