Ayew has edged closer to a Premier League move by rejecting Olympique Marseille’s latest contract offer.

Marseille are refusing to break their wage structure keep the 24-year-old, who wants £50,000 a week.

But he knows he can earn that bumper salary if he quits to cross the English Channel on a Bosman next year.
