Asante Kotoko will be hoping to avenge the first round defeat to Heart of Lions, while Hearts of Oak seek to hold on to their second spot as they welcome Ashgold

After qualifying to the quarter finals of the MTN FA Cup, League champions, Kumasi Asante will now turn their attention to premier league football as they welcome Kpando Hearts of Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a week 22 fixture of the First Capital Plus Premier League. Kotoko’s main mission will be to avenge the defeat suffered at the hands of Lions during their first meeting. The visitors posted a 2-0 victory over Kotoko at the Kpando at the Kpando Park last October.

The match between Hearts of Oak and Ashgold at the Accra Sports Stadium is obviously the top-liner among the mid-week matches. The two sides have recorded inconsistent forms especially in the second round. But Hearts of Oak will be under a .lot of pressure since they are playing at home, coupled with the fact that they lost the first leg encounter in Obuasi.

Relegation threatened, Aduana Stars have a date with King Faisal while New Edubaise United face Liberty Professionals.

Inter Allies will be seeking to collect all three points when they come up against Berekum Chelsea. The debutants who have been lying in the relegation zone since match day 1 have recently lifted their performance as the fight to beat the drop gets intense.
