Cano Z Flies high … As Trozo & Rama exit MTN Hitmaker
Two more contestants of the MTN Hitmaker, Trozo and Rama, have missed out on the GH?100,000 grand prize at stake as they got evicted for pulling in the least votes.
This brings to six the number of contestants evicted. Also two contestants who performed to the admiration of the judges of the judges during audition were brought to the house to compete with the others.
Dubbed the ‘Wild Card’ segment, Paa Kwasi and Kofi Supreme performed for the first time in the competition and were therefore exempted from eviction.
Cano-Z for the second time running was declared as the best performer and therefore got to stay at the Oak Plaza Hotel for another weekend.
Real name, Gilbert Bossu, Kano-Z hails from the Volta Region. He graduated from Bishop Herman College and has since been managing his own barbering shop before enrolling part-time at Ghallywood where he studied acting and modelling.
He started his music career from the Church of Pentecost and after several attempts he started his own music before hitting it big on the hitmaker platform.
The remaining contestants are still trying to outperform each other to claim the ultimate prize, an album recording, distribution and marketing contract worth GH?100,000.
Ofie Kudjoe, one of the judges, encouraged the evicted duo to make the most of the opportunity they got from the competition.
