Dance Hall Artiste OD4 Rebrands His Stage Name to Kofi Marvellous.

The celebrated dancehall artiste who came into limelight in 2006 following a collabo with Ewura Esi on the track ‘Gye gye me so’ told streetbizgh.com that he decided to change his name from OD4 to Kofi Marvelous because when he sings he sounds Jamaican but would rather prefer people know that he is Ghanaian especially as he prepares to launch into the international arena.

Asked what other new thing he is bringing on board the Shaggy look alike said he is coming out with a new album which will showcase his improved singing skills. He also said”I have three new singles out, they are: Sexy Lady ft Destiny from Nigeria, Jah Guide and Bad Man Town and they are been produced by Hasty of Omg Studio.”

He added that Sexy Lady and Jah Guide are already airing on radio stations across the country and people are beginning to appreciate his complete transformation.

When released this would be his second album. In 2008 he came out with an album titled ‘Teabofre’ under Slave Entertainment and the album had hit tracks like ‘Darling Good morning’ and ‘Ten Thousand’

In 2010 he released a single titled ‘Baby” and has been silent since then till recently.

OD4 now joins the likes of Bertha, Abortion, Ded Buddy, Lazzy of VIP amongst others who have changed their names of recent.
