Frank Artus Competes With Majid, Dumelo & Van Vicker For Universal Awards
Liberian born Ghanaian actor Frank Artus is hopeful to beat top celebrated Ghanaian actors, Majid Michel, Van Vicker and John Dumelo at the 2014 edition of the Universal Achievement Awards.
The Universal Achievement Awards (UAA) is an annual awards ceremony intended to celebrate and reward distinguished dignitaries around the globe. It is an avenue where outstanding individuals are recognized for their hard work, dedication, touch and impact on so many lives through their services.
With the likes of Will Smith, Ice Cube, Eddie Mupphy, Chris Tucker, Beyonce, Queen Latifah on the nomination list, this year’s event will take place with glitz and glamour in USA on March 22, at the Northland Performing Arts Center, 4411 Tamarack Blvd. Columbus, Ohio.
Frank Artus was nominated alongside John Dumelo, Majid Michel and Van Vicker for the Best Ghanaian Actor category. Actresses Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson, Nadia Buari, Jackie Appiah and Juliet Ibrahim were also nomination for the award.
“By popular demand, Frank Artus is topping the list of the ongoing votes for the upcoming awards,” publicist Judith Oluwole told NEWS-ONE.
Frank is described as a symbol of hope for the young people of Liberia as he keeps flying higher the flag of his home country, Liberia, anywhere he goes.
The name Frank Artus rings a bell in the ears of African film lovers across the globe and he has enjoyed the patronage of Nollywood from the beginning of his career till date.
He has paid his dues in Nollywood as he is touted the favorite of filmmakers in the industry where he has starred in over 100 movies.
