Hearts spend GH¢172,000 on 6 players in second window
Sportscrusaderonline.com can exclusively reveal that Accra Hearts of Oak spent about GH¢172,000 in the second player transfer window which ended on Wednesday.
The amount was used to entice 6 players to agree on contractual terms with the club.
Hearts signed five new players and renewed the contract of one other whose contract had expired after two years at the club.
The list of newly registered players includes;
Philip Boampong (Defender)
Ezekiel Tetteh (Striker)
Edikeu Theche Berenger (Ivorian International striker)
Abdul Mustapha Manan (Striker)
Willington Odupong Gerard (Striker)
Emmanuel Laryea (Midfielder Contract renewal)
Sportscrusaderonline.com sources say the recommendation to sign the six players did not come from the manager of the side, Mohammed Polo although the Hearts manager has admitted he needed to fill gaps in the team.
