I Don’t Fear Bise Osei Kuffuor – Nhyiraba Kojo

Inside the Best Drive on Brong Ahafo’s Anapua 105.1 Fm, (hosted by Kwaku B – The Perfect Gentleman) Nhyiraba Kojo was contacted to voice his opinion on Obour’s leadership of MUSIGA (Musician Union Of Ghana).

“The presidency of MUSIGA, is a great responsibility Bise Osei Kuffour has taken upon himself. It is too soon for us to judge him, besides this is not a job one can be accessed by within three days. He is doing his best as a ‘youth’ leader and he can only be judge at the end of his term in office. The chance has been given to him by the majority and we need to respect that. To me, I won’t say whether he is doing good or bad because it is too soon for him to be judge by us” Nhyiraba said.

Based on his statements he was asked whether he feared the MUSIGA president as compared to others such as Galazy, Kwabena Kwabena and others who spoke against Bise’s leadership. “A lot of people know me to be no nonsense guy, I don’t fear him as some people do. The fact is that, we musicians sometimes make things complex for MUSIGA. Our songs do not pass through the right channel before reaching the general public. We have to unite and do it the right way which is of course the MUSIGA way. Most of us don’t go for MUSIGA meetings and also not to talk of paying of dues” On royalties, Nhyiraba stated “our loyalties are not coming oo…I keep hearing some people that they have gone for theirs. But frankly speaking I have not taken some before”

In conclusion, the CEO of Money Go Flow music decided to rate Bise Osei Kuffour’s (Obuor) performance as President of MUSIGA thus far: “ For what he has done so far , I will give him 30 percent. We wish him all the best”
