Kwesi Appiah: USA / Ghana Game Is Very Crucial
Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah has admitted that his group opponent USA at the 2014 World Cup are a force to reckon with and playing against the Black Stars in their Group opener will be very crucial and a win or defeat will set the stage for the tournament.
“I know the USA have got a good team, with some new faces in their squad..the US have played some friendly games recently and I must say that, I’m impressed with their progress,” he said.
“Playing them as our first match will be very tough and I am sure my team are ready and knows the task ahead.
“For me onces you want to be a part of my final 23-man squad, you should be a world class player which I know I have in my team,” Kwesi Appiah added.
The ever smiling Kwesi Appiah is confident his final 23-squad that will be doing the battle for Ghana are ready and very strong men full of experience and young.
“I know my team is very strong and any player I have in the team is a world class player for such,” he stressed.
The Black stars beat Group H campaigners South Korea by 4 goals to nil in Miami on Monday night.
