M.anifest releases video for his hit song ‘Jigah’
Rapper M.anifest, also known as Kwame Ametepe Tsikata, has released a video for his hit song ‘Jigah’ which features South African artist Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP). The video produced by Callback Dreams Studio was shot in the streets of Johannesburg in South Africa. “The song is collaboration between myself and one of my favourite South African artists, Hip Hop Pantsula popularly known as HHP. The video was shot and produced by our friends at Callback Dreams Studios; you may know them for shooting Mafikizolo’s ‘Khona’ and my ‘Proverb’ music video,” M.anifest told NEWS-ONE. The ‘Jigah’ video, which was released over the weekend on social video-sharing website Youtube, shows M.anifest and HHP rapping in a trailer as though they were courting the support of the people on the streets of Johannesburg. ‘Jigah’ is a colloquial word in the Ghanaian Twi dialect which means anger and with the word being the chorus of the song, HHP is heard in the song constantly telling M.anifest to calm down.
