The Magistrate Court at Kenyasi, the district capital of Asutifi North has today received items worth thousands of cedis from the Asutifi North District Assembly.
The items are 10 Office Executive leather chairs and 2 air conditioner units for the staff of the magistrate court. In attendance were the District Chief Executive, District Coordinating Director, Presiding Member, Staff of the court and the Media.
Presenting the items, the DCE, Hon. Anthony Adjei Mensah, on behalf of the Assembly said, the move is due to the appeal made to them by the Chief Justice of Ghana when she visited the court some months back.
He said the items will assist the staff to feel more comfortable in carrying out their work duties.
” The Assembly will continue to assist the court for the smooth flow of justice for the district and Ghana as a whole” DCE said.
The Head of the magistrate court, Christian Havi, on behalf of the staff thanked the Assembly.
He continued to say that the court will continue to uphold integrity and provide fair and accurate judgements to the residents of the District.
