MUSIGA Grand Ball – How the CEO of Tigo danced the night away.
The manager of Ghanaian dancehall artist Samini, Tony Pun has asked Bulldog, Shatta Wale’s manager to learn more and find better strategies to promote his artiste.
According to Tony, Bulldog has a lot of room for improvement and needs to discover ingenious ways to promote his artiste instead of using Samini to hype Shatta Wale.
Shatta Wale in a recent interview on Pluzz FM proposed a joint concert with Samini, offering to pay his bitter rival GH¢80,000 for the show. This he said, is aimed at bringing to an end the simmering tension between them.
Born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, Shatt Wale revealed that he had tried his best to talk to Samini but his efforts have not yielded any results.
“I propose a Samini-Shatta Wale show. The fans really want it. We are not enemies but he has made it so I will pay him (Samini) GH¢80,000 to come and perform if he will accept my request.”
But Tony, speaking in an interview on Hitz FM thinks it is very childish for Shatta’s management team to go on radio to announce their proposal just to promote their artiste.
“There a lot of room for improvement for Bulldog, he needs to learn more and find better strategies for his artist. He doesn’t know much and that is why he is always trying to create hype for his artiste,” he advised Bulldog.
Samini’s manager said if Shatta Wale really wants to work with Samini professionally, Bulldog should call him as a manager and discuss his plans with him rather than sit on radio and announce it.
Tony alleged that he believes the publicity of Shatta Wale has waned and this is the only means he can use to get him up there again.
“They only use this to find ways to hype themselves especially when they feel their image is going down, he only gets hype when he mentions Samini’s name,” he stated.
“I have a better experience than Bulldog when,” Tony added.
