NASPA cleans up Kenyasi Township

The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA)in the Asutifi North District in Brong Ahafo region has undertaken a clean up exercise in Kenyasi Number 1 and 2.

The exercise which took off around 9:30am saw so many people attending aside the staff of NASPA.

The principal streets of the entire township were cleaned up by the attendants which also included ZOOMLION GHANA, who provided litter bins and other cleaning items for the exercise.

Speaking to the co-ordinator of NASPA,Shepherd, the decision for the clean up exercise was to help make the communities disease-free especially from malaria.

The President of NASPA, Kingsley Koranteng Asante, also stated that the exercise which was part of a week celebration will aid in the development of the township.

Some members of NASPA, ZOOMLION and the communities also expressed their delight in the exercise
