Mrs. Mona Helen Quartey before assuming office as Deputy Minister for Finance served as a Partner at BVM Advisory Services.

She has broad treasury, risk management and corporate finance experience in the private and public sectors. Mrs. Quartey also previously worked with Citibank NA, and Citi Corp. Investment Services, all in Maryland USA.

Some other prominent institutions she worked with include American Express Financial Advisors in Columbia, AshantiGold Company Limited and Ecobank Ghana. She has also been a Non-Executive Director of Merchant Bank (Ghana).
