President Nana Addo visits The Chiefs and people of Kenyasi

As part of his three – day tour in the Brong Ahafo region, the President of Ghana,His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, has paid a visit to the Chiefs and People of Kenyasi, the capital of Asutifi North District.

A mini-durbar which was staged for the President was attended by the Member of Parliament for Asutifi North Constituency, the District Chief Executive, Chiefs of the towns within the district, Health Workers,Education Directorate,Security Service, the Clergymen,Political party leaders and many more.

The President who was accompanied by some of his Ministers promised to construct the main road that links Asutifi North and South together since it is the major problem facing the residents.

He narrated that steps are being put in place as soon as possible to construct the said road because Ahafo has contributed to the development of Ghana and still does to this day.

Prez. Addo appealed to the people to support him and his government in building the nation since the immediate past government headed by Prez. Mahama did not do much for the people especially in Ahafo.

He said that soon the electorates in Ahafo will go to the polls to vote for the creation of Ahafo region so the people must bear in mind to attend massively and vote yes so it becomes a reality.” Once Ahafo becomes a region there would be massive development like any other region” said the President.

He then visited the district hospital which is about 85 percent constructed and commended the District and the contractor for having done a good job thus far.
