Richmond Boakye Yiadom elated at quick injury recovery

The 20-year-old has lauded his quick injury return after sustaining a head injury last week

Ghana striker, Richmond Boakye Yiadom is excited at making a full recovery following an injury setback last week.

The 20-year-old was hospitalized after a collision with the Granada goalkeeper during a La Liga match.

The Juventus player who is on-loan at Elche returned to action a week earlier than the scheduled recovery date.

His ability to take part in Elche’s 0-1 defeat to Villareal on Monday still baffles him.

“I was surprised myself because the next morning after the injury I was so weak when they brought me home, the next day I went to training for the team doctor to check me up and the pains were still there,” he told Joy Sports.

“The next five days after I woke up from my bed it was like a miracle because the pains had completely vanished.

“I started training and this is where I am now, God has been good to me and I’m fully fit now.”
