Tyra Banks Delivers A Baby Boy.

In a social media message shared late Wednesday, Tyra Banks announced that she had welcomed a baby boy with a little help from her boyfriend, Norwegian photographer Erik Asla, and a gestational surrogate.

“The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here,” Banks captioned the Instagram post, which featured a striped baby hat. “He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin.”

Asla later reposted Banks’ photo, adding, “Witnessing the dawn of life is quite possibly life’s greatest gift.”

Banks previously opened up about her fertility issues back in September during a discussion with FABLife co-host Chrissy Teigen, who also shared her struggle on the daytime talk show.

“I want to co-sign what Chrissy is saying and say ‘You have no idea what people are going through,’” Banks said before shedding tears. “Why am I crying? You just have no idea what people are going through, so when you ask Chrissy that or me that or anybody that, it is none of your frigging business, okay?”

“And for any women, it is none of your business what somebody is going through,” she continued. “Whether they want to have a child or don’t ever want to have a child or may have a child on the way, it’s none of your business, okay? Until somebody wants to make it your business.”

And Banks has done just that by letting fans in on the heartwarming news and the “angel” who made it possible.

“As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone,” she wrote. “York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
