United Cadres’ Front Condemn Shaving Of Tamale Female Wee Smokers.

Members of the United Cadres’ Front (UCF) of the National Democratic say they have seen and watched with much discomfort, the alleged shaving of some young women for allegedly smoking marijuana, commonly and variously called Indian Hemp, Wee and others.

For them, the act is very unfortunate not because they support the smoking of the stuff, but the selective nature the punitive act was carried out.

“In this era where gender equity is being advocated, it is a retarding act of aggression on discrimination against women.”
“…The UCF wish to find out the number of ‘ Wee’ smoking men who have been given similar treatment as meted out to the ladies? We know the smoking of the narcotic substance is criminal in this country but we do not know of a law that empowers individuals in this country to arrogate to themselves the power of administering ‘justice’ in the act under reference.”
They have therefore unreservedly condemn this discriminatory act and request that those recognizable in the dastardly act should be brought to book and charged for assaulting the ladies under discussion.
“Our position is not in support of wee smoking by the ladies but what is bad for the goose must equally be bad for the gander. We thus advocate for the arrest of the smoking ladies as well as the assaulting culprits.
These acts of reckless impunity ought to stop at some point before they get to their worst end.”
