Willie ‘N’ Mike ask gospel musicians to shun 2016 GMA.

Michael Adomako (Mike), the other half of the music duo Willie ‘N’ Mike is advocating for the boycott of this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards by Ghanaian gospel musicians.

In a Facebook post dated 23rd January, 2016, he said that gospel music is not properly represented in the awards scheme as organizers cannot identify trendy worship songs.

His post read;

GOSPEL MUSIC HAS THE LEAST REPRESENTATION ON THE GHANA MUSIC AWARDS BOARD..PANELISTS CAN HARDLY IDENTIFY TRENDY WORSHIP SONGS…..WHAT A SHAME !!! I THINK GOSPEL MUSICIANS HAVE TO BOYCOTT THIS AWARD THING.(My Advice)
