Wizkid breaks up with girlfriend; says he is now single

Nigerian music sensation, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun known on stage as Wizkid has broken up with his long time girlfriend, Tania Omotayo.

The breakup was preceded by several rumours that the two were having a coarse relationship.

‘The Matter’ hit singer confirmed during an interview with Gbemi on the Drive Time show on Beat FM in Lagos Nigeria last Thursday that he and Miss Motayo were no longer together.

Although Wizkid did not state when they broke up, he said he and Tania were now just good friends.

“My friend is fine. We’re cool. But I’m single now you know. But it’s all love. I got love for her. She’s like my best friend anyways,” the 23-year-old musician said.
