Yohan Appiah Out With ‘Wo’nkutoo’
There was so much exaltation, incessant praise and anointing at the Kingdom Family International Church (KFIC), Race Course, Lapaz last weekend, as Minister Yohan Appiah unveiled and ministered songs off his album which was launched at a well-attended event at the church.
After uplifting performances from supporting acts like the resident choir of KFIC, Vine Praise, Sir Jones, SAGOM Mass Choir and Mikayella from Tema, Minister Yohan mounted the stage and belted out songs off the ‘Wo’nkutoo’ album.
It was apparent that the power of the Holy Spirit was in force as patrons sang along and prayed as the Minister delivered soul-inspiring tunes.
The launch was organized under the aegis of the Overseer, Rev. Stephen Arthur with support from Prophet Samuel Addison of Eagle House Chapel and Opanyin Charles Twum of Light House Chapel International.
The 11-track album has other songs like ‘Which Kind God’, ‘Chineke’, ‘Adeakye’, ‘Hwie W’adom’, and ‘Woye Onyame’. On the inspiration behind the making of the album, Minister Yohan professed that he was inspired by God to write the songs upon hearing an adverse medical report.
The ‘Wo’nkutoo’ album is Minister Appiah’s second after his maiden album ‘Hwie W’adom’ was released in 2010. Over the years, he has shared the stage with renowned gospel artistes including Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Tagoe Sisters, Kwaku Gyasi, Ceccy Twum, OJ, Noble Nketsiah, Oware Jnr and Vine Praise.
He has ministered extensively at various churches; from the Harvest Chapel, Action Chapel, Alive Chapel, Global Revival Church, Living Bread to Resurrection Power Chapel, and is currently the music director at Kingdom Family Int. Church.
Born to Mr. Michael Afrifa and Mrs. Agnes Kyeiwah, Yohan Appiah hails from Akim Swedru. He attended Akim Swedru Secondary School (AKISS) and since completion of school, Yohan has honed his craft in singing and blossomed into one of the most anointed gospel artistes in the country.
