Zaron to strip Yvonne Nelson off her ambassodorial position?
Information reaching our entertainment desk suggests that the management of Zaron is not happy with the recent brouhaha over their brand icon-Yvonne Nelson as one of the people who have been involved in bleaching cases.
According to our sources, the beauty firm is not happy with the unfavorable tag that has since affected them since the US based website-Atlanta Blackstar, featured Yvonne Nelson as one of the celebrities that have been involved in bleaching their skin.
Report has it that the make-up fashion house sees it as embarrassing, and demeaning to their brand.
Even though Yvonne Nelson has come out to deny the report over her bleaching allegations, saying: “My present skin tone is as a result of the constant use of the famous Queen Elizabeth Cocoa Butter. About 3 years ago, I was fortunate enough to secure a deal to be the ‘Face of Queen Elizabeth Cocoa Butter’ and as part of the contract, I was given a lifetime supply of the body cream. I have therefore been using this cream exclusively for 3 years, so what you see now is the result of the goodness of Queen Elizabeth. It has simply enhanced my natural complexion rather than bleach it.” It appears Zaron management is bent on relieving her of the post.
We did contact Zaron Ghana via a phone call, to find out their take on this whole drama, an insider pointed out that the decision to strip or not to strip Yvonne of her ambassadorial position lies solely on those who made her the brand ambassador.
So if they feel that her recent image pointer isn’t going down well with the company’s vision, then she will have no issue on this.
It will be recalled that Yvonne Nelson recently refused to attend the launch of the brand in Ghana. Her reason according to sources revealed that she isn’t in good terms with the Ghana franchise of the brand.
The question on the lips of her fans is: why is Yvonne Nelson attracting so many bad publicity and collision with bloggers lately?
