Daniel Amartey 19-year-old arrived in the Danish capital
Ghana youth midfielder Daniel Amartey has completed his move to Danish giants FC Copenhagen and signed a five-year deal, Africanfootball.com can exclusively report.
The 19-year-old arrived in the Danish capital on Wednesday and passed a medical before putting pen to paper.
Amartey has been transferred from Swedish top-flight side Djurgarden IF after only a one-year and a half at the club.
He made 23 appearances in the Allsvenskan last season on his debut and featured 11 times this campaign before the league went on break for the World Cup.
Copenhagen finished second in the 2013-2014 Danish Superliga and will play in the qualifying round of next season’s UEFA Champions League.
Amartey played three seasons for Inter Allies in the second-tier league before being sold to Djurgarden IF.
