I made ‘Ye Wo Krom’ song POPULAR – Obinim.
Eccentric pastor, Bishop Daniel Obinim has claimed that he single-handedly made the hiplife hit song ‘Ye Wo Krom’ by musician Atom, popular in Ghana.
According to him, as the spiritual father of the musician, he first laid hands on a copy of the CD and blessed it to make the song a hit.
Bishop Daniel Obinim made waves few weeks ago when a video from his TV channel started circulating, showing the ‘man of God’ claiming that he can transform into snakes and bite people to death– often accompanied by his buddy, Jesus Christ.
He was bashed by a vast section of the public including the UK High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E Jon Benjamin, for his comment which was thought to be very terrible coming from a supposed ‘man of God’.
But Bishop Obinim in a new clip while reacting to the backlash said based on the reaction of Ghanaians including his fellow pastors, he has come to the realization that his high level of spiritual maturity cannot be rivaled by any man of God.
At the end of his dramatics, the congregation broke into ‘Ye Wo Krom’ for their prophet, who sees himself as one in a class of his own and remains the only Prophet in Ghana who can transform into animals.
Following this, there were speculations that the musician (Atom) was to sue Bishop Obinim for performing the popular song.
But Obinim laughed the claims off and boasted that the ‘Ye Wo Krom’ couldn’t have been a hit without his input.
Speaking to Kasapa News, Atom confirmed that he sought the blessings of the ‘weird’ Pastor ahead of the song being released.
He dismissed the report of him intending to take Bishop Obinim on.
