Bisa Kdei’s ‘Brother Brother’ wasn’t Banned – Charter House
George Nii Armah Quaye, PRO of Charter House, organisers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has reacted to claims by a section of the media that Bisa Kdei’s ‘Brother Brother’ was disqualified because it was vulgar.
Speaking to Dr Cann on his Showbiz Xtra show on Happy FM, he told the host “we decided to choose one of Bisa’s songs because we thought it will help him aggregate the votes needed. You can’t put all of his popular songs in the same category.
“He will get divided votes and other songs in the same category will take advantage of that to get more votes so we did that in consultation with him. The song wasn’t banned as speculated.”
Bisa Kdei’s Mansa is in contention with Take Away – Acka Blay ft Cabum, Hw3 – Becca, Pimpinaa – Obrafuor ft Bisa Kdei, M’akoma – R2bees, Susuka – Kofi Kanata, and Alewa – Ofori Amponsah ft Sarkodie.
