Assemblies of God Women’s Ministry holds retreat in Kenyasi

The Assemblies of God in the Brong Ahafo region has staged the 2018 Women’s Ministry Retreat in Kenyasi No1 in the Asutifi North District.

The Programme which saw over 500 women began on Tuesday, 21st, and ended on Saturday, 25th August 2018.

The event with the theme ” Manifesting The Gifts of The Soul Winning” was attended by National Director of Women’s Ministry, Regional Superintendent, Regional Women’s Director, District Pastor, DCE, MP for Asutifi North Constituency, Traditional Chiefs and the media.

Rev. Mrs. Gladys Abu Baba, Regional Women’s Director, said the aim of the retreat was to let women in the church know how valuable they are to their families, the church, communities and Ghana.

Again for them to pray endlessly for the country since they are also part of the country’s development and welfare.

She added, the programme has been so good because a lot of things have been learnt by them due to poignant messages from various speakers. ” we are told how to combat bitterness in life as women” she said.

The DCE of the Asutifi North, Hon Anthony Mensah also urged them to always pray for peace for the country since it is a tool for development.

Nana Adutwumwaa Moronsa, Queen mother, Kenyasi Traditional Council, said they should know that they are precious and must cherish it since God made them special.

The MP for the Asutifi North Constituency, Hon. Joseph Dahah, also stated that women are so important to the country, “without you the country is nothing” he bluntly added.

Other regions are also hosting such programme in the region.
