It’s A Do or Die Affair Against Zambia – Agyemang Badu
Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has described Black Stars crucial encounter with the Chipolopolo’s of Zambia as a do or die affair.
He noted that, the Black Stars team is very determined to be in the world football stage coming 2014 (FIFA World Cup) for the third uninterrupted time after performing tremendously in South Africa 2010.
“It is a do or die affair game for Ghana because it is obvious how Ghanaians love football and most especially the Black Stars. This World Cup (Brazil 2014) is very significant to us…no matter what we will beat Zambia,” he told Peace FM’s Peace Power Sports in an interview.
The Udinese player might face competition from returnee Michael Essien who was a surprise inclusion in Kwesi Appiah’s 26-man squad to face the Chipolopolo at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Others primed for the same position include Rabiu Mohammed having enjoyed a lot of playing time with the team recently. But Agyemang Badu has no worries starting Friday’s match from the bench.
