Golden Ticket for Rihanna’s concert slated for October sold out

Rihanna’s Diamonds Tour that is set to be held at the FNB Stadium on 13 October in Johannesburg. Following the release of the ticket sales today morning at a cost of R330 to R930, to watch the six times dubbed Grammy Awards winning singer perform in Johannesburg, eager fans rushed off to buy the tickets.

Golden circle tickets priced at R850 and Lower Tier Restricted Seating tickets sold at R600 sold out completely just before midday.

Just this week, Cape Town Big Concerts announced that they will be bringing Stay singer Rihanna to South Africa as part of her Diamonds Tour which she is currently busy with travelling around the world.

Rihanna who will be gracing Mzansi with her presence for the second time, has a huge following across the world on social media with just over 29 million followers on Twitter.

Sowetan Live contacted Computicket and Big Concerts to find out the number of tickets that were put out on sale for the Diamonds Tour but they refused to disclose that information

Executive assistant at Big Concerts, Sophie Doherty says: “We can’t reveal the number of tickets that were released for sales, and we will not add more golden tickets for sale once they are arleady sold out.”

However other tickets are still available for the Johannesburg concert.
