It’s like this is the season of giving for Nollywood actresses.
Just like Eniola Badmus reached out to an orphanage last wee, Nollywood diva, Monalisa Chinda has also followed in her colleague’s footsteps.
On Sunday 15th September, she took out time to pay a visit to Kirikiri Prison, Apapa, where she gave her some gifts to the female inmates.
The charity visit which lasted several hours, saw inmates coming out to see the actress, while staff of the female section came out en mass to welcome Monalisa and to accept her donations.
Aside donating various items including food stuffs, cloths, under wears, toiletries, perfumes, provisions and the likes through her Arise Monalisa Foundation, the multiple award-winning actress took her time to interact and encourage the prison inmates who obviously were excited to see the star actress.
Although the inmates were not allowed be photographed, they all had a great time bonding with Monalisa who made a commitment to regularly visit and send items to them.
