FUSE ODG to Perform @ MOBO Awards
MOBO is happy to announce that three-time MOBO Award nominee Fuse ODG and Best Newcomer contender, Jahmene Douglas are the latest acts to be added to the all star line up confirmed to be gracing the stage at this year’s 18th anniversary MOBO Awards.
Both stars join Iggy Azalea, Laura Mvula, Rudimental, So Solid Crew and Tinie Tempah as confirmed performers with three more exciting acts to be revealed shortly.
Waving the flag for Africa, Ghanaian born and London raised Fuse ODG captivated the nation with his energetic performances and original creative conceptual songs.
Fuse ODG’s hit ‘Azonto’ took the world by storm and instantly became an internet sensation.
The music video scooped over a million views in a matter of weeks, whilst topping the iTunes World Chart- all achieved independently through the OFF DA GROUND (ODG) label he co-founded.
After signing with 3beat records, Fuse ODG continued on with the huge success of ‘Azonto’ with the superb track ‘Antenna’.
The monster hit was the anthem of the summer and stormed the UK Singles Charts by peaking at number 7 and number 9 in Scotland, which cemented Fuse’s status in the Afrobeats genre.
Expect a high energy performance from two time MOBO Award nominee Fuse ODG at this year’s Award show taking place on October 19th in Glasgow.
