My song gained Sarkodie his popularity – Danso Abiam

With a new single Celebration which features Ghana’s fastest rapper ‘Sarkodie’ and the urge to succeed this time round, Tema-based singer Danso Abiam is making news as he claims Sarkodie’s rise to fame was made manifest through him as he featured him on his first hit single Belly Dancer.

Speaking over the weekend to NY DJ on the Kapital Entertainment Unplugged Show on Kapital Radio, Danso Abiam indicated his hit single got Sarkodie most of the shows he performed in the earlier buzzing stages of his career but due his (Danso Abiam) reserved nature by then he never appeared on any show to perform the song with the BET Award winner, something he blames himself for.

He stated; I was not famous the and nobody knew me so all they thought was that the song was for Sarkodie but i hold no grudge with him as we are very good neighbours and as you can see, I have a new single with him now.”

Danso Abiam is currently out with a new single Celebration which is currently enjoying airplay in the Garden City, Kwahu, Accra and some part of the country.
