Apraku Brushes Off Attacks And Says ‘I Will Always Speak My Mind’
If you ever thought any form of abusive ripostes could lead to Dr. Konadu Apraku quivering or recoiling into his shell, one better look out for new alternatives rather than the offensive attacks.
For some days now, the former 2008 campaign manager of Nana Akufo Addo has come under series of verbal attacks for passing comments many within the party deem as inappropriate.
Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, over the weekend, suggested the need to replace Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2016 if it is the wish of the party to come to power. The above suggestion earned him a major backlash when associates of Nana Addo replied.
He was described as a “backstabber” and “Judas” within the party; whose aim is to run down his former boss (Nana Akufo Addo) just to propel his selfish presidential ambitions.
But an unmoved Konadu Apraku told Okay FM in an interview that as long as he remains an integral member of the NPP, they should expect not to be silent over issues that have a bearing on the future of the party.
“For as long as I am human and a member of the party, they should allow me speak my mind”, he said.
He expressed surprise at the blistering attacks aimed at his person and called on those who do not share the same sentiments with him, to tone down a bit when arguing out their views.
