Get Familiar: 10 Most-Controversial Popular Ghanaians In 2013
Like Asem said and we all know, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being controversial or bad publicity. It all works for the best one way or the other thus if you need the masses to keep talking about you. It works best in the entertainment world where people need all the publicity they can get to keep their careers on the top.
The year has almost ended and these are the guys who made sure we had something to say everyday, one way or the other had everyone talking about their personal issues or insecurities.
Let’s walk
Wanlov & The FOKN Boiz: Wanlov is the king of controversies, from showing his ‘willy’ to the world, cutting off his long locks, constantly fighting Blakk Rasta, fighting with airtel, teasing his fellow artists and so much more, He has infected M3nsa with his virus. If fact, Wanlov’s controversy can make a whole book full
Shatta Wale: The battle of who the dancehall king is has caused lots of fights in the industry and Bandana started it all. The funny part is, try go against him and he and his die-hard fans will diss or attack you personally and even say he don’t need your promo or services, he went on to insult a whole Charter House SMH … Bandana, this is Ghana o, take your time wae Abrante3
Ayew Brothers: Dede Ayew & his brother Jordan Ayew caused some stir when they decided to give themselves an indefinite suspension from the Black Stars. These guys just forget what made them … well maybe I don’t know too much but it’s just not fair, especially when the whole country is relying on you.
Asem: Asem has been controversial since his involvement with Ghana music. He’s the Kanye West type of person, acting like he knows it all. He recently had a feud with an event organizer over an unpaid debt, he also told every award-show organizer to exempt him from their consequent award shows.
Samini: He sure needed to gain grounds. Whatever he planned seems to be working. He has attacked folks like P-Square, Tonto Dikeh, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie … many call it attention seeking … he ends up being the talk of the town …
Kevin-Prince Boateng: Just like the Ayew Brothers, his uncalled-for quitting of the Black Stars made many Ghanaians angry especially after he shined from playing for the Black Stars. He’s back but he’s lost the love. Poor Kevin!
Yvonne Nelson: She’s been branded an attention seeker since time. She’s managed to give blogs content the whole year with her social media addiction. You can’t blame her … and it actually worked for her.
Sarkdodie: He has been a popular person this year not for his works mainly but his controversial nature lately and his ridiculous demands as complained by organizers. You will need more than $20,000 dollars to seek his services and as if that is not enough, he will make countless demands including tickets for his more than 10-man team including his mum and sister if you’re not lucky. This has got him loosing opportunities. He will go on social media and rant about how the media is trying to kill his career .. Sigh!
Asiedu Nketiah: The general secretary of the NDC know how to get everybody who is not part of the NDC angry with his comments and he will laugh and tease on top of it. It’s politics yo!
Sir John: He’s also the general secretary for the NPP and he’s more like Asiedu Nketiah. He chats loads of bullocks that he had to be silenced at the Supreme Court SMH
