Aduana announces sponsorship deals with Betway and Charger Limited
GNA – Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) campaigners, Aduana Stars, has announced two sponsorship deals with Betway Limited, an international betting agency and Charger Limited, producers of Happy Man Bitters.
Under the deal, Betway would become the headline sponsor of the Dormaa based premier club.
Nana Mills, in charge of Events and Sponsorships, Betway Ghana, observed that there was enough prospects for Betway to partner Aduana as the team, were the current premiership champions.
He said Betway as parts of it commitment to the development of football in Africa, strengthens the technical department of football teams they sponsor.
“What Betway is doing is to bring Coach Nico Labohm with over 35 years working experience on five different continents to add a little bit of knowledge to what Coach Yusif Abubakar has.
“Even though we know Coach Abubakar is the best coach in Ghana, we want him to be a better coach than the other coaches he is competing with to spend 10 days here to interact with management and coaches so he can find deficiencies and improve on playing styles to make Aduana the best team in Africa,” he said.
Announcing this at a press conference in Dormaa-Ahenkro, Mr Albert Commey, the Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars acknowledged and welcomed the sponsors for extending support to the club.
He expressed optimism this would help boost their performance, during the 2018 premier league season and their CAF Champions League campaign.
Mr Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, the Chief Executive Officer for Charger Limited, Manufacturers of Happy Man Bitters, said “partnering with a club like Aduana with vision and direction we know the sky is our limit.
“We thought it wise to sponsor the club as part of our company’s social responsibility and as a way of giving back to society.
“We know football administration involves a lot of resources and we felt there was the need to optimise this opportunity through the avenue created for both Aduana and Charger Limited,” he stated.
