Even in his absence, Mr. Kyeremanteng’s surrogates are doing the underground work to ensure their preferred candidate gets the nod as the next NPP Presidential candidate for 2016.
Mr. Philip London, a special Aide to the NPP Presidential hopeful told Citi News Mr. Alan Kyeremanteng’s 2016 presidential bid is real.
“For now there are a lot of vibrant activities going on and all the various people in the party who are very anxious to see him as the next Flagbearer are busily working.”
He gave the assurance that Mr. Kyeremanteng will announce his presidential bid when he arrives in the country.
“I am telling you on authority that he will be in the race, and he is aware that I have given this confirmation on his behalf and so be assured that he will be in the race.”
Meanwhile, the NPP General Secretary, Mr. Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie said preliminary internal elections ahead of the main national delegates’ congress were on course.
According to him, the polling station elections are expected to end on November 23, and that by December 14, the constituency elections will be conducted.
