Black Stars to camp in Ethiopia for Egypt game
The Black Stars of Ghana will play the second leg of the final round of the CAF World Cup qualifiers at the Air Defence Stadium in Cairo on November 19, 2013.
The Ghana Football Association wrote to FIFA for security fears but the football governing body has given the Pharaohs the go ahead to host the second tie in their country.
The Black Stars will camp in Ethiopia ahead of the game that could qualify them for the 2014 World Cup tournament in Brazil. The players will be camping from November 11, 2013 at Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital.
Coach Kwesi Appiah and his men will then travel to Cairo on November 18, 2013, a day before the game against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
The Black Stars have a commanding 6-1 lead going into the second leg of the game. The Pharaohs of Egypt would have to score five unanswered goals to deprive Ghana a third successive World Cup tournament.
