Dauda to start for Pirates on Wednesday
Ghanaian goalkeeper Fatau Dauda will start for Orlando Pirates in the midweek Premier Soccer League (PSL) match against Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Dauda comes in for regular goalie Senzo Meyiwa who is suspended for the tie after picking up his fourth yellow in the team’s 1-0 victory over Moroko Swallows but Orlando Pirates coach Vladimir Vermezovic is not worried about the Ghanaian’s lack of games and is sure Dauda will up for the match against Swallows who are coached by former Bafana Bafana head caoch Clive Barker.
“We have a big squad and Dauda is very much ready for action for the game against Aces,” Vermezovic said to KickOff.com.
The match will be Dauda’s third this season for Pirates who are fourth on the log with 37 points; 12 behind leaders and rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
