D’banj made Beats By Dre headphones ambassador.

Nigerian music star Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known on stage as D’banj, has been named as the African ambassador of Beats By Dre.
The announcement was made Thursday via the official twitter handle of the earphones company which was acquired by Apple in May for $3 billion.
Apart from the grand announcement, Beats By Dre also used the opportunity to congratulate the ‘Oliver Twist’ hit singer for clocking 10 years in the music industry.
“Our boy @iamdbanj in his custom #StudioWireless. Welcome to #BeatsFam & congrats on 10 yrs in the game. #BeatsByDre,” the company tweeted.
Shortly after the announcement, the musician shared photographs of his own customized Beats By Dre headphones with the caption: “What a way to End a great day. Sharing my Great news with one of my Most favorite persons. #OminiSuperstarMinister @akin_adesina”.

Reports suggest the Nigerian musician will officially launch his customized Beats By Dre headphones in December this year.
