Kwaku Manu curses Ghanaians
As we draw closer to this year’s presidential election, maintaining the peace is a key theme that is being preached by various individuals and bodies in Ghana. Famed Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu, is the most recent celebrity to add his voice to this by launching a Peace campaign. In an interview with Kwaku ‘B’ on Anapua 105.1FM, he cursed war mongers who intend inciting conflict in Ghana before, during and after the elections.
Speaking with “de perfect gentleman – Kwaku B” on Anapua105.1Fm, he said,
“May God strike down whoever wants war in Ghana so we celebrate his/her death before the election”
The actor also added that he will soon undertake a nationwide peace campaign in the Senior High Schools.
“I will begin my tour in the Senior High Schools because the youth play a major role in peace campaign as well as violence. I’m seeking for sponsors and when I get them on board I will start it right away”
Kwaku Manu ending his interview and having initially stressed on the aftermath of the Liberian civil wars, advised Ghanaian journalists to be cautious of what they say on air with their panel members for it could instigate war as it has happened in other countries.
