Kwamena Duncan Must Be A “Wizard”…He Must Be “Flying” – Allotey Jacobs.
Central Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwamena Duncan has expressed utter disappointment in the Mahama administration for failing to resolve the power crises in the country.
Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” programme, Kwamena Duncan lambasted President Mahama for what he believes is an oversight by the President in dealing with the crippling economic crises.
According to Kwamena Duncan, what the President and his government know well is to engage in “reckless spending” at the expense of the Ghanaian citizenry.
To Kwamena Duncan, the dream of President Mahama is to be “President at all cost indeed. This is my time. As though, there was no tomorrow; Kwami, reckless spending!”
He further added that he (President Mahama) does not think about the consequences of his actions on the economy.
Citing an example of some actions by the Mahama-led government, Kwamena Duncan told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that there has been total blackout within the entire Central Region due to the power cuts perpetuated by the NDC government.
But in a sharp counterblast, NDC Central Regional Chairman, Allotey Jacobs believes Kwamena Duncan must be a “wizard” or have some wizardry powers to discern that the whole of Central Region has been in total darkness.
“Then you’re a wizard. You must be flying. If you tell me that the whole of Central Region was in total darkness, then it means you have been moving in the sky. You’ve been flying,” Allotey Jacobs quickly replied his colleague on the programme..
To Allotey Jacobs, the government is on the right track figuring out solutions to the power crises in the nation.
In his earnest conviction, Mahama administration will fix the situation.
“Let’s hope because we’re dealing with machines. Let’s hope that it will gradually become 12 hours of darkness, 24 hours of light…We know we have been experiencing some problems but we’re however grateful for the cooperation from Ghanaians.”
