Hiplife musician, Kwaw Kese aka Abodam will today appear at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Circuit Court for the fourth hearing of an alleged case brought against him for smoking a substance suspected to be cannabis in public.
The “Nonsense” has been remanded into prison custody for a little over a month after he was arrested for allegedly smoking cannabis at Kumasi based LUV FM’s Old Skuul event last month.
This will be the fourth time he will be appearing in court since his arrest on Saturday, November 22.
Previous attempts to get the court to grant him bail has failed because narcotics cases are non-bailable. His colleagues in the music industry have been pleading with the authorities to deal leniently with him while others are campaigning for his release.
Meanwhile, Kwaw Kese, has begun a massive campaign against the use of narcotic drugs by the youth while in prison.
