MEL meeting under “WASH” project initiative held in Asutifi North District

A meeting dubbed “Monitoring Evaluation Learning (MEL)” under the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) project has been held today at kenyasi the Asutifi North District capital in the Brong Ahafo region.

Per WASH, by 2030 all residents in the District must have access to safe water and hygienic environment and it can be only achieve if the facilators do proper monitoring, evaluation and learning as the programme progresses.

According the Executives from Accra, MEL will assist them to give comprehensive account of the community members as the initiative gears up in full swing.

Records are to be by the managers of WASH at the district and national levels.

To the Executives from Accra, the initiative in the Asutifi North District was doing well as anticipated and they were encouraged to contribute new ideas in order for other districts to learn from them.

At the meeting, lectures were presented with a time allotted for participants to ask questions. Group work was also assigned and thereafter presentation done by these groups.

WASH National Executives, Assembly members and all Facilitators as well as the Media attended the meeting.
