Over 25 top Ghanaian musicians have confirmed to perform at the climax concert of the 2014 MTN Saminifest scheduled for the Trade Fair Center, La on December 6. This was announced by Samini at a Media Launch at his pub, Dancestardom, last Friday.
Artistes billed for the December 6 Concert at the Trade Fair, include: Sarkodie, Obrafour, 4X4, Stonebwoy, VVIP, Kaakie, R2bees, Episode, Kofi Kinaata, Edem, Guru, MzVee, Paapa Yankson, Jupitar, Mzbel, Koo Ntakara, Noble Nketsiah etc.
The first edition of MTN Saminifest will have the following activities:
-Dec 3- Industry Workshop on Financial Planning at Dancestardom
-Dec 4- A Photo and Video Exhibition at Dancestardom
-Dec 5- African Market Day- FoodFest& Pre-party @ Dancestardom
-Dec 6- Saminfest Live (Main Concert) @ Trade Fair
The annual musical festival, Samini said, seeks to bring together music lovers, particularly Samini fans all over the country, to celebrate his astounding works and also showcase class-act performances from leading Ghanaian artistes
Explaining why Saminifest, Samini said: “I have always thought we need a program that reflects the massive opportunities in our industry and a great deal of tourism potential and revenue for the Creative Arts Industry and our country”

Admiral Abbey of MTN and George Amoa-Atta of Accra Brewery Limited expressed their respective companies’ support for the festival at the Media launch, which was attended by most of the supporting artistes. Also, Musiga 2nd Vice President, Besa Simons reiterated Musiga’s backing for Samini on this project.
Samini announced that tickets for the festival will be out from November 25; and promised his fans 1,000 free tickets by liking www.facebook.com/saminifest. He used the occasion to premiere his latest single, Godfull, which he referred to as the official theme song to his 10th anniversary in music.
MTN Saminifest is supported by Ashfoam, Fiesta Condoms, Midland Savings & Loans, Club Beer and organized by Samini Music and Showbiz Africa.The December 6th climax at the Trade Fair will be hosted by top actor John Dumelo, comedian Funny Face and Abeiku Santana.
