President Kagame makes his intentions public on 3rd term bid.
Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) is currently holding the former Chief Executive of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) Sylvester Mensah at its Headquarters, starrfmonline reported.
It is unclear what his charges are and it is not known whether and when he would be released any moment soon.
The report said, the BNI operatives who were in his house ransacked his house, manhandling his security man and even threatened to shoot his guard dogs.
According to report, the ex-NHIA boss who was also the MP of La Dadekotopon reported himself to the national investigative body on New Year Day after seven heavily armed officials from the BNI were at his residence to arrest him.
The armed men however met his absence.
More details soon.
