Samini, in his new single titled ‘Badmind’ appear to be casting demeaning insinuations at Shatta Wale.
According to Samini, it is just impossible for an individual, “Shatta Wale”, to claim that he was from Nima when he actually comes from the “sea side”.
“Go back to school learn and you will know that your style will not sell in Thailand. You come from sea side and you say you come from Nima. We know original Nima People. You can’t fool nobody around here,” a line from Samini’s song stated.
The lyrical war between Samini and Shatta Wale has been ongoing for years. It came to a temporary halt when the ‘Dancehall King’ hit maker apologized to Samini and his camp at the nominees jam for the maiden edition of the BASS Awards. This truce, however, was broken by both parties shortly after the apology.
Shatta Wale had earlier questioned why a “lyrically weak singer”—Samini—will attack Sarkodie in his song titled ‘Pink Sheet’. Perhaps the lyrics in Samini’s ‘Badmind’ were in response to Shatta.
“If you think you are bad you are not as bad as my shoe,” Samini stated in the song which was produced by JMJ records.
